Port Royal Golf Course

PORT ROYAL GOLF COURSE

Our most popular. Ranked among the world’s best public golf courses by Golf Digest and named Bermuda’s finest course by the New York Times, Port Royal features 18 championship holes over 6,842 manicured yards, the longest and most picturesque course in all of Bermuda. Challenge yourself at the newly renovated Port Royal Golf Course, located only 12 minutes from the resort. Legendary golf architect Robert Trent Jones combined undulating terrain and dramatic oceanside cliffs to create an unforgettable golf experience.

Those left with any question might consider Port Royal’s signature hole. Widely regarded as one of the greatest par threes in golf, the 16th hole is a 235-yard crescent-shaped beauty with nothing but the Atlantic Ocean between the tee and the pin.

Port Royal underwent a $14.5 million renovation, a complete makeover spearheaded by original design team member Roger Rulewich in preparation for the 2009/2010 PGA Grand Slam of Golf.

The course has a 300-yard oceanfront driving range, pro shop and on-site dining.

Belmont Hills Golf Course

BELMONT HILLS GOLF COURSE

Belmont Hills' is a challenging par 70, featuring fast TifEagle greens, man-made lakes separated by a waterfall and excellent ocean views.

Designed in 2002 by renowned golf course architect Algie M. Pulley, Jr., the course is a magnificently contoured showcase of Bermuda’s natural beauty. Featuring 6,100 yards of strategically laid out bunkers, multi-tiered greens and slender fairways, this world-class layout offers a challenging test for players of all handicaps.

One of the unique characteristics of this Bermuda resort’s golf course is the utilization of multiple water hazards, which is unusual for a Bermudian course. Two expansive ponds complement the dramatic landscape, with an automatic irrigation system keeping tees, fairways and greens - including Bermuda’s only double green (at 14,000 square feet) - in peak condition. Hundreds of trees have been planted or relocated to shape and define the fairways.

Belmont Hills also boasts a pro shop, practice area and on-site dining.
